CYC Psychy.
April - May. 2015
Cambridge. Massachusetts
As a cyclist who did not grow up around cars and high volumes of people, this project arose from an interest to determine the correlation between my body and my new urban environment. After connecting myself to a heart monitor, I mapped out 3 uniquely dense routes through the city, based on the parameters of population, bike friendly pathways, and intensity of vehicular traffic, and then recorded my physiological response, noting where the fluctuations in BPM occurred.
